La 1SC está formada actualmente por más de un centenar de jugadores del WWIIOnline que defienden principalmente los intereses del Ejército Británico en nuestra lucha por liberar Europa del yugo Alemán. Nuestro principal objetivo es, y ha sido, el crear una comunidad de jugadores Hispanos en la que reine una gran amistad y concordia entre sus miembros y que haga que los nuevos jugadores se sientan queridos y bienvenidos desde el primer dia. El WWIIOnline es un juego en el que nunca se dejan de aprender cosas nuevas y, es por ello que, en la 1SC creemos que la mejor forma de aprender y disfrutar de todo el potencial del juego es jugando junto a los miembros de una misma squad.

El nombre
La 1st Spanish Company toma el nombre de una unidad onónima real de españoles que lucharon en el Ejército Británico durante la II Guerra Mundial a la que pretendemos rendir tributo y recuperar su memoria.
Dicha unidad perteneció al Royal Pioners Corp británico y desembarcó en la playa Gold en Normandía. Otro escenario bélico en el que participó fue en la Batalla de las Ardenas[1].
Comienzos
La 1SC se creó a comienzos de Abril del 2003 para cubrir un hueco en la comunidad Hispana del WWIIOnline. Hasta esa fecha los pocos jugadores Españoles que defendían los intereses de las fuerzas aliadas estaban desperdigados en muchas squads. Esas squads operaban en Inglés y eso hacía muy complicada la llegada de nuevos jugadores.
La 3ª Division Canadiense
Así que instigados por Sider se formó la 1SC dentro del organigrama de otra gran squad que es la Tercera División Canadiense, la 3CD. La 1SC empezó con 4 jugadores y mucha ilusión por crear una gran comunidad Hispana. A los veteranos del juego como Marneus, Manduco y Sider se les unió un Darkewok recién llegado al juego. Sabíamos que el camino iba a ser muy duro de recorrer y en muchas ocasiones la vida se nos hizo muy difícil ya que con tan pocos efectivos poco podiamos hacer. Pero poco a poco fueron llegando grandes jugadores como Jav, Sabater, Maquis, Sibaris y Whitelab y todos juntos fueron dando forma a la squad que somos hoy en día.
La creación oficial
Sin embargo, el éxito que tuvo la 1SC la llevó a crecer rápidamente. Finalmente, llegó un momento en el que la 1SC tenía más miembros activos que la propia 3ª División Canadiense y fue necesario crear una squad por separado, afiliada al Allied High Command. Pero todo miembro de la 1SC que haya vivido aquella época, siempre recordará con cariño a sus camaradas de la 3CD.
La 1SC Hoy
Y es que a día de hoy, la 1SC es una squad a tener en cuenta en nuestra zona de operaciones. Somos un grupo de aguerridos soldados que no nos asustamos ante ningún reto que se nos plantea y, sobre todo, nada ni nadie nos quita la ilusión que teníamos cuando empezamos. Seguimos evolucionando y creciendo gracias a la llegada continua de nuevos jugadores que enriquecen nuestra experiencia en el juego......Pero no nos conformamos con eso. Queremos más aun. Y para eso necesitamos seguir creciendo con la llegada de nuevos jugadores que tengan ganas de disfrutar mucho del juego, que tengan ganas de luchar y trabajar en equipo, que tengan ganas de aprender y, sobre todo, que tengan un gran amor por las ovejas! (es una historia muy larga!).
Así que si crees que estas preparado para aceptar nuestro reto y formar parte de nuestra familia, solo tienes que hacer una cosa! Apúntate! Te prometemos que disfrutarás de un juego sin igual junto a grandes personajes y que morirás miserablemente en innumerables luchando codo con codo junto a nosotros.

«21st october.
Its Axis squad night. All I can do is look at the map and ask people to set up defenses here and there, waiting for the critical hit to come. I sent a request for Mean to be attacked, but all our men were in critical defense points. Morale wasn't completely down, but I couldn't do much to improve it either. I had to just sit there and look at the map trying to guess what the axis next move would be, a feeling I hate, as we all do.
One important town for us was Weert, as its liberation would free up 2 of our brigades to cover the Ciney area, which was being pounded so hard by the axis it was surprising there was still even one building standing. I radioed for a unit, any unit that could detach and go for Weert, but all the radio gave me back was static and the sound of battle all over the place.
In the midst of all the chaos, an officer, or mabe a few of them, got up and rallied their bloodied and battered soldiers, I recieved a radio message while sitting in the bunker of Spontin "We'll take it sir".
You can bloody well say they did, 20 minutes later I heard the celebration of the capture of Weert on all radio channels. Our men on all fronts got their heads up, through the weariness and the tiredness of many ours fighting against seemingly unbeatable odds, we had given the axis a bloody nose while they where strongest. We could beat them!
My thanks and that of the HC goes to the men and women in the squads mentioned who with their courage and teamwork, gave us all the best weapon we can use against the axis. Hope.

«During the battle on 09-11-09, the squad of 1st Spanish Company gallantly held the south of St. Omer while, I as Map OIC and moved brigades out as they were in danger of being cut-off. Because St. Omer had a HAAC on it, and the last division, a French one - 8dc ( 8e Regiment de Cuirassiers) had to wait 25 minutes before movement rules would allow it to withdraw. It was necessary to control the connecting depot. Sirkitoh lead his squad and personally reported to me that they were holding the necessary depot for the move, and were being surrounded by enemy tanks and infantry. St. Omer at the time was being badly hit, and camped and had only 8e in it. The 1st Spanish Company kept me aware of the ground situation and had told me that several ets were dead near the depot, and the depot was being held by the squad. They were under heavy attack from enemy infantry, tanks and mortars. But the depot held. And 8e was moved. Altogether, they held the south cp for about 30-40 minutes. Holding while most of the divisions moved out, and finally until 8e had moved out. I would also like to mention that Sirkitoh and his squad volunteered to hold the depot and were defending the Town before we began to move the brigades. I am new to AHC, but I strongly recommend the 1st Spanish Cavalry for an award of some type and I would very much like to give it if possible. I belief this squad went above and beyond any call of duty for the Allies, and should be awarded a squad award.»Shane20

«A la 1SC por su constante lucha durante más de 6 horas en Amberes, aunque perdimos la ciudad su toma de la zona sur, garantizó que la batalla se prolongase durante 10 horas y obligando al Eje a traer refuerzos desde sitios como Rossendal, para poder seguir con el ataque.
